Privacy Policy
How TMD Marine Brokerage handles information you share with us, including inquiry details, ad-click attribution, and your privacy choices.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
Information you give us
When you submit an inquiry, appraisal request, seller intake, or build plan, we receive the details you enter — such as your name, phone number, email address, and information about your boat or the boat you're interested in. We use this only to respond to your request and to work with you as your broker.
Submitting a form never creates a listing, an agreement, or any automated marketing contact. A member of our team follows up personally.
Advertising attribution
If you arrive at our site by clicking an advertisement, we record which ad brought you here — specifically the ad campaign labels in the link (UTM parameters) and Google click identifiers (such as gclid, gbraid, or wbraid), along with the page you landed on. This information contains no personal details on its own.
This record is stored in your own browser for up to 90 days and is attached to an inquiry only if you choose to submit one. Its sole purpose is to help us understand which ads generate inquiries so we can spend our advertising budget responsibly. We do not sell this information or use it to profile you across other websites.
You can remove this record at any time by clearing your browser's site data for tmdmarine.com. Clearing it does not affect any inquiry you have already sent.
Regional consent and privacy controls
Advertising tracking is switched off entirely for visitors in regions whose laws require prior consent (including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), and whenever we cannot determine the visitor's region. We do not show a consent banner; instead, tracking simply does not run for those visitors.
We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals: if your browser sends either, no advertising attribution is captured and any previously stored record is removed.
Google Ads measurement
We may use either Google Tag Manager or the Google Ads tag (never both) to measure which inquiries result from our Google advertisements. When enabled, it loads only for visitors where tracking is allowed under the controls described above, and it reports a conversion only when an inquiry form is successfully submitted — not for ordinary page views. If you submit an inquiry after clicking a Google ad, the click identifier stored in your browser may be shared with Google so Google can count the conversion for our advertising account.
Google's own privacy policy governs how Google handles data on its side once it receives a conversion signal.
Your choices and questions
You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting our team. For browser-stored records, clearing site data in your browser removes them immediately.
